Cartography and Drawing Laboratory

Our Department's Cartography Laboratory, which constitutes the foundation for every stage of education and research, covers an area of 85 m2. As can be understood from the list provided above regarding the use of laboratories in our department, it exhibits a common usage characteristic in L1. The equipment and materials available in L1 are listed below. It is an inevitable necessity that the foundation of every stage of geographic research and education is based on the use, interpretation, and reproduction of printed and digital maps. For this reason, the first laboratory established in our department was the Cartography Laboratory. This laboratory not only facilitates the conduct of classes but also establishes the infrastructure required for research and fieldwork at all levels.
